I am trying to find out which my father Simeon Wheatcroft served in in the second worls war he is not mentioned in the 1939 census But My mother was living
iGreengate street in Oldham at that time.
myself and my sibling's were brought up in Fairbank Homes in Royton. I do hope someone can help me.

WW2 records are not online

Lots of advice about accessing them on the Military Chat thread

You posted on there in January 2024 and were given advice which you do appear to have acknowledged

service records not in full but basic and there is a charge but an option to cancel anytime a monthly dd of £8 + !

but he wasnt in a regiment but is in the Naval records.
