looking for a search page

Good afternoon

Sometime ago I used a search page, where if you typed in a name it would link you to their families, i.e. parents and siblings so on.

For the life of me I cannot remember what the page was called and wondered if anyone would have a clue as to what i'm on about .

Try googling the person's name and see what comes up.

Doing that with a name at random from my tree brought up the kind of result you mention on geni.com and myheritage.com., among others.

It doesn't work if you go straight to the website, as you need a sub.

I thought it was free BMD that I used.

Freebmd only has transcriptions of the BMD index.

I'm looking on that site at the moment.

A few years ago I was using a site where as you typed a family name in and it would connect to possibly family members moving backwards to trace, but I just cant seem to remember the site name.

The only one I know of which does anything remotely like that is Ancestry
