I have had a look at the site, don't think much of it, according to it my Gt Gradfathers wife died years before he was born and in America at that. |

Please do take care with the trees on Mundia. They are the public trees from Ancestry and a lot of those are very badly researched and just copied from somebody else's. Use them as a guide and back them up with your own research. |

Carol when the search results come up, if you click on the name instead of on 'view tree', you can see the person who the tree belongs to. |

I found it useful and built a fairly good tree with it, but I only made real discoveries after I uploaded it here. People here seem to put much more information in profiles here, which makes cross-referencing so much easier. |

Agree Kevin extreamly slow. Found several of my family trees, wrong as usual. Unlike main Ancesytry site no information who posted the tree. |

They don't only put public trees on that site. I have a private tree on Ancestry and was shocked when my tree came up in a google search. I complained to Ancestry who removed it. |

I came across a site few months back which I have found to be quite useful and its free. Its called Mundia .co.uk. Just put a name in and with any luck someone else with the same tree as yours will be on there in all its glory. I have found about 6 trees for my ancestors along with a good number of people I had yet to find. Heard that mundia is an off shoot of ancestry. |
