I am wanting info on Annie Baxter who in 1861 census lived in Old Forge Cottage in Robin Hoods Bay. She had a daughter called Margaret and her husband who was not named on the census was a Master Mariner. Has anyone got any information about the family. thanks

In 1871 it looks as though Ann has died or is just not at home and father James is back. Checked the original and James says he is a Widower.

In 1881 James is retired and living with his daughter Ann and her family. Can't find what happened to Margaret though.

Is it the same James on both. Sorry losing the plot. Thought you had found another 1871.
Yours is the 1861 which is great because it gives us the name of the ship.

I have explained to Carolyn how to get back here so I am hoping she will find her way soon.
