Could anyone help me find the name of Sarah Critchley's father. She was born 1830 and married Peter Stirrup born 1828 in Prescot, Lancashire in 1849. I can't find out how I can obtain a copy of their marriage certificate even though I have the code XX 837 Prescot. Maybe it has not been transcribed yet. I am trying to follow the Critchley/Forster/Stirrup families but find it very hard as there are so many of them and they seem to have intermarried cousins or relatives of the same surname. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
