Yes, it's definately looking that way I think from each of the census' there is a lot of variation in how her name can be spelt which really doesnt help! I had never come across Lettice though ! I suppose from having looked at my own hand wiriting an 'a' can look like 'ce' !! |

That's ok Janette I thought I had the wrong one! I wonder why they were both different for 1881 but perhaps they are more localised? I don't really know anything about the area? |

Thanks Cathy, I've taken it off the 1881 which says Harriseahead however all the other census' say Wolstanton. Sorry for any inconveinence. |

The James Bailey marr in 1857 as above is actually Newcastle Tyne vol 10b page 45 so I will make a correction on Feebmd |

I have searched on just her first names but nothing obvious coming up. If the record has not been transcribed correctly then you will not get a match. |
