Hadn't noticed that... looked for Edward Rea in 1881 only found 1 aged 9...in the right area but an inmate at a school.

Found an Eliza Rea born Diddlebury but she is 60, so too old and is married to William Rea.

She is with Edward Rea in the 1871 census ...

I've been looking for her married to either of the men in 1881 and 1891 and can't find them..don't know where they have gone. Just in case this is not themarriage, I have looked for her death too....can't find anything which looks good match.

Don't know where to go now.

That marriage looks a good possibility Dee - could Benjamin Rea be related to Edward Rea? Or is it just some sort of really weird concidence?

I saw this one, but I'm not convinced as she was born in 1839, so would have been 15. Not impossible, but will keep it in my records.

Maureen, I don't know, she is the sister of my gt grandfather. I was trying to find out if any of his siblings moved out of the area....as he did. She may not have married at all, but the name is too popular to trace.
