Caroline Elizabeth Bowers Weldon was my grandmother so you can confirm both Hunter and Canada. I would appreciate any other information!

Arthur Weldon1860 - 1904 was the brother of my gt grandfather (James Henry Weldon).

I have a copy of the will of Tomas Bowers Weldon and also correspondence relating to it. Henry Weldon ( Arthur's son) is somewhere in Africa in 1951 and I suspect Caroline became Mrs Hunter and emigrated to Canada (I need to prove this)

Emma (his mother) died 4 Dec 1904

I have an interest in this, as my grandmother was Annie Weldon, born in Souhampton, and her father was George Weldon born 1837, who was almost certainly Arthur,s brother.George's parents were James Henry Weldon& Mary Ann Brice( not Pearce), and James Henry Weldon& Emma were the next generation back.I would be glad to have any further information that you have. Henry c1884 is in Southampton with grandmother Emma on the 1901 census.

freeBMD has an Emma died Dec 1904 Southampton.

In 1891 James Henry is a Cargo Measurer in the Harbour and they have another son Thomas c1872.

James Henry Weldon c1832 parents James Henry c1811 and Mary Ann c1806, siblings George c1837 and Agnes c1840.

James Henry c1809 was born Worthing. In 1851 there are more children, Mary Ann c1847 and Fanny c1851.

James Henry Welden married Mary Ann Peace 16 JUN 1831 All Saints, Southampton.

In 1901 Caroline c1886 is with her aunt Agnes Snowden (nee Weldon).
