Hi David,
One my Great Grandfathers is William Edgar Brittain , born 8 Nov 1897 Lancaster
(which is a close date)
and apparently a bit of a rogue
in 1916 He Married Daisy Morley
and in 1919 re-enlisted

what are the names of the parents of your William Edgar?

William Edgar Brittain born 18 December 1897 Lancaster Lancs still searching for any further information. Maybe lost in WW1 Not on any army lists. Deserter? Is there anyway one can search for names of deserters?
