My name is Rees Wilson and I have recently joined Genes Reunited to help find relatives of the Wharton family from South Shields, where I was born and lived until I was 23. My grandad on my mother's side of the family was called Sammy Wharton and was one of John and Jenny (Jane) Wharton's sons. hi, i am trying to find relatives of john wharton (known as jack), he was born carlisle in 1864 but moved to south shields where he married jane souter. he was my greatgrandfather and my tree has become 'stuck' until i find his parents/relatives. any info wud be fab, thanks x
