I The gap between 1923 birth my aunt jessie and and 1927 my mum is when percy william was born and died. I don't think it is a still birth as I have a locket which was my mums and has a photo of a baby inside which she always said was her brother that died. I have seen part of a death certificate from Malta for the death unfortunately there is little detail to help except my grandfathers name and year of 1926.
As far as I am aware my grandfather was a steward on a submarine stationed in Malta.
I hope this makes sense

So there is a gap between 1923 and 1927
Would go again with a child being stillborn as none show for that time gap

There is a birth that matches this death, the mothers maiden name is Manning

If Percy was in the navy then any births etc should be on the GRO overseas indexes

Nothing is coming up

Maybe the child was stillborn which won't show on the GRO records

Does the cert give his occ as navy personnel ?

They had a child still in Tendring in 1927

Hi can someone point me in the right direction.
My grandparents Jessie Salmon and Percy Salmon had a son born somewhere between 1923 and 1926. I believe he was born in England I know he died in Malta where I understand my grandfather was serving with the Navy sometime in 1926. I am trying to confirm the information but can find no trace of the death having been registered in the UK and don't know where to look for details
