alviegal, the baptisms you found for me have helped me find William's Army record, which shows that he was born in Worcester - a great surprise for my Irish husband. Again, thank you :-D

Her birth isn't the only record I can't find on GRONI - I have a marriage in 1857 which is on familysearch and Ancestry (Ireland Select Marriages) and Emerald Ancestors but not coming up on GRONI.

The other children seem to have lived to ripe old ages - Clara was 86 when she died and William was still alive in the 1950s.

What a sad tale, the poor children dying of preventable (nowadays) illnesses and then the mother dying when she was only 27.

Wonder why she's not showing on GRONI :-S :-S

How sad - the children died within a week of each other, Mary Ann on 14th December and Robert on 21st. Both died of measles and pneumonia.

Although I have found their mother's death on the Irish Deaths Index, nothing is coming up on Groni's site.

I didn't have Robert's death or Mary Ann at all. There was another daughter, Annie who was b 1878 (my husband's grandmother) and Agnes died the following year (1879).

I think I will spend a few pounds on GRONI (Ulster's GRO) site to have a look at the death certs. Will come back with what I find.

They're on fmp Potty. I've just upgraded to the World Subscription for the year so I think they come with that.
