Ethel Robbins born 1895 Bristol, and died, death certificate I have, as Ethel Wreford Beale address at death 37 Flora Street, sub district Central Cardiff, reported by her father Frederick Robbins abode 6 St. John Square Central Cardiff.
Date of death 24th October 1918. Certified by doctor (bit hard to read but can guess)
She was 23.

I have much personal information about this person. However, I do not have any idea how to go about finding her grave, or even record of her grave.

Can someone please advise.

I would look at the nearest cemetery to the address where she lived when she died. Or look at the closest churchyard.

Most cemetery offices or local councils have burial records on computer. If you have the exact date of death some will do a look-up for you for free although increasingly councils are charging for this service

You could also look at the nearest library to the address where she died as they may hold back copies of local newspapers and there might have been a family notice in one of the newspapers with details of the funeral.

Google Cardiff cemeteries, and find the one nearest to the deceased's last address

Contact them and find out whether or not they are prepared to carry out a search.

My local cemetery keeps forms in the office by the gate to fill in the details of who you're looking for, and they don't charge, but that is not the norm these days

Thanks folks,
Forgot to say I'm not resident in uk. Have Googled everything I can think of, without results. Her death comes up, but not burial. Guess no headstone.

Will try Cardiff Council first, but I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA. Nothing in newspapers on Genes.
I was a difficult history, this was probably Spanish flu epidemic at the time. :-(

Google for cemeteries, as I suggested earlier.and then compare with maps, which can also be found by googling

Then get in touch by e-mail, phone or letter

It's a bit unrealistic to expect to find an MI, as hardly any of these are on line

Cathays Cemetery is very near Flora Street, per Google maps.

Ethel's grave's not listed on findagrave.com, but only 900 graves are listed there, and it's a huge cemetery, 110 acres, according to another website:

War ended 1918
The 1921 census will be the last for a while.
The 1931 for England/Wales was destroyed in a fire
The 1941 wasn't taken

There is a handy website called deceased online via which you may be able to trace her resting place. Good luck.

Thanks very much folks. Trying all your suggestions. Deceased on line is very easy to use, but yielded no results.

Thanks thanks Genes community.
Eventually found the resting place record of my ancestor.
The local Council provided the correct email address which yielded the record of my gran. :-D
