Eva Kinder (nee wood) was born 06/03/1908 I have the birth certificate, she married a Edward Kinder in 1943 (Ashton 1943 Q3 8D/1356) but for the life of me I cannot find her death. Would any of you kind people have any ideas???

Hello Mike, That's what I thought, but having her birth certificate showing 06th March 1908, surely discounts that death??? :-0 :-0

It may do, but it depends who registered her death.

If it wasn't a relative they may not have known exact date.

I have a great uncle's death cert which was registered by a hospital nurse and his DOB is way out.

Then again it may be a different Eva Kinder

There's this birth of an Eva Wood, in Oct/Nov/Dec qr of 1908.
This looks like the one whose death Mike posted.

Are you sure your Eva married Edward Kinder, 1066ronnie, or could it be the other Eva who married him?
Or is it possible you've got the wrong birth certificate?

not sure 2 Eva Wood both married a Mr Kinder !!

who were Eva's parents on that birth cert ?
where was it registered ?

How sad! John and Annie had 5 children, but only two were still living in 1911.

Hi ArgyllGran, you have the correct info Thanks very much. She didn't have much luck with the children Sarah 1899-1900 Alice 1902-1902 Arthur 1904-1904 and it looks like she died young aged 44. I have birth and death certs for Sarah and Alice and birth cert for Arthur as well as Eva... :-D :-D :-D

An update for all, but, especially for ArgyllGran, Having received the Birth Cert for Jessie, Birth and Death certs for Sarah, Birth and Death certs for Alice, Birth and Death certs for Arthur, and finally the Birth, Marriage of Eva to Miles Hodgkiess and Death cert of Eva Hodgkiess. Thanks ArgyllGran for putting me on the right track. All the certs tie in together. I just need to find if Jessie married or she died young??

Good Evening again
Another update, I have found Jessie marrying Christopher Gregg, Ashton 1929 Q3 8D/1945 with her Death as Jessie Gregg (the DOB is the same as Jessie Wood so almost certain they are the one and same) Tameside 1980 Q3 V39/1450 she would have been 82 or 83, I will send for the certs to confirm.

One final piece of the jig saw Jessie Wood did in fact marry Christopher Gregg on 10/08/1929 in Dukinfield, she outlived Christopher and died 19/08/1980 at the general hospital, ashton under lyne. I have the certs to prove this, so that ends the search for another branch of my family, there is still more to do though...
