re the apparent conflict between the death date for an E H Perry and more recent location info ... a widow might continue a telephone listing in her deceased husband's name for example, and I am not persuaded of the accuracy of any of those 'public record' listings in any event

All I have is the census detail for 1930 and 1940 no middle name listed but I guess there could be. He would be about 84 now. That branch of family are known for longevity. My granddad his brother died 96 so I am hoping! I do feel a novice when it comes to searching in USA.

I saw the death record posted by Margee but I found it to be a bit strange as birth date is given as 19 Aug 1928, but there is also this record for an Ernest H.Perry born same date but who is still living in 1996:-

Holly that is my Ernest, I tracked him from UK to America as far as 1942 where he was registered for draft during WW2, no record of his death and no new info on Ernest jnr. Catherine, are those 1991 and 1994 record death ones?
