As both marriages were before 1837 there won't be any certs.

Do you know when she died ?

We could try to work backwards for you IF we had a name.

Which of her children is your direct ancestor ?

The witnesses on an m.cert are often siblings or sibs-in-law of the couple, so thieir names might provide clues.

Hang on........there were no children from which union Dannie? :-S

As has been said, if you would like to provide some names and dates, someone can look for you. There are many parish records available on line. We just need to know where to look. Thanks. Cx. :-)

Did she have any children after 1837 ?
If so her maiden name would be on their birth certificate

Hi
Dannie,

Most parish would just put if she was a widow and no maiden name but there are some that would put more info, if you give her details maybe some one would be able to go to the archives for the area and have a look for you.

Hi I am wanting to find the maiden name of my g great grandma as I know she remarried in 1834 I would like to know if her maiden name would be entered in the parish records or just her previous married name. I would like to send for the parish record but I don't want to pay the cost of the researcher if her maiden name is not entered.
Many thanks
Dannie
