I have a Jane Pope b1914 Q2 Newport Glam; Gwent; Mon: MMN 'Simmonds'
I cant find a Marriage for Male Pope and Female Simmonds.
I haven't and cant look at Scotlands People though.

I think I have the Marriage of Jane to a Charles George in Newport 1934 which fits in with the line i'm exploring.

Any ideas? (fingers X it isn't Ireland)

It could be that Jane's mother was married before and therefore married again with her previous married name and not her maiden name.

Do you know if Jane had any brother's and sisters?

Looking around for a Harry Pope who might have been in the Medway area, (born 1880 - 1890 to make him marriage age) in 1911 and found this one - in the Navy

Assuming the marriage to Charles George is correct, there are five possibilities for children. I haven't managed to find a death for a Jane George that would give an actual dob for her.
