Searching for any information/family of the above. John Giles b. c1808 in Reading, Berkshire, married Elizabeth Ash in 1834. They had a child John Giles b.1833 in Shoreditich. Elizabeth died in 1836 and John remarried to Eleanor (Elester)Lines in Oct 1836. They had 6 more children, Henry, William, Robert Abbott, Elizabeth E, Mary Ann and Eliza Giles. I have been unsuccessful in tracing any history/connections to my GG Grandfather other than the Census records to 1851. |

Looking at th original of the 1851, Robert A's middle name certainly looks like Albert: |

Re: the John Giles b 1856 shown on the 1871 - I'm wondering if he was actually a grandson mis-recorded? |

Thanks very much. The baptism of John 1833 in Shoreditch is correct. IJust information about his parents and siblings is the mystery. Can't find anything about his dad's death date/place, nor any info on his step mother and siblings other than the Census |
