Hi, Im reseaching the Eales family from the Newton Abbott area.Im looking for a Mary Ann Eales,who had a son called William Henry Eales born 1858/9 in the workhouse in Newton Abbot. On the birth certificate of William ,there is no fathers name.
Can anyone help me please.

You're saying William Henry was born 1858/9 but there was no father's name on the certificate. As you have the certificate you must have his exact date of birth, could you tell us that please?

I justed wanted to thank everyone who responded in my quest to find a Mary Ann Eales,its was very much appreciated,so thanks again.!
Just a little bit more information i have,if any one is interested on Mary Ann Eales and her son. William Herry Eales was born on the 12 sept 1858 at the Union Workhouse ,Newton Abbot. Also When William married in 1881 to a Mary Ada Burton, his fathers name on the certificate is a John Leyman ( deceased )
At this moment in time ,i haven`t got any more information to give,but any information i do receive,will be very much appreciated.

Im looking for a Mary Ann Eales,and i found there was a Mary Ann Eales in St Marychuch,Torquay born 1846, Her parents were a Francis Eales and Elizabeth Eales both born in Bovey Tracey in 1826.
Could anyone help me further on this family,any information will be greatly appreciated.
