The other children on there also fit with record and the wife's name was Rose Cook !

i don't have the certs as i am not in a position to spend that money at mo . i tried looking for marriages on here, freebmd and ancestory with grant to coon but nothing has appeared , i had not thought about her being married before though so i will give that a go , many thanks for replying

my ancestor joseph grant was born in 1916 st George east London and it says mums name was coon ,
i have tried with out success to locate a marriage of a grant and coon around 1916 any help would be great
i know my joseph grant married in surrey se in 1941 to nancy may cottington and he died in 1981
but with out a marriage record for his parents i am abit stuck so any help would be great
