Find Ancestors

With thanks for all the people that helped in the last thread - I have sorted out what I need to find and hopefully you might be able to help me find the right person(s)?

I do have most of the certificates to confirm the info, if needed I will send for a certificate if one fits.

William Stevens c1841 - 1865 and Phoebe Neve c1836 Wymondham - not sure of this, after what has happened .

Thomas Henry Stevens 1866 - 1944 Clenchwarton and Ann Maria Gotsell 1867 Heacham.

Alfred Thomas Stevens 1899 - 1976 Clenchwarton and Nellie Cooper 1898 - 1933 Clenchwarton and Eva May Willson c1905 - 1983

Ronald Stevens 1927 - 1990 and Sheila Ratford 1931 - 2005 - my parents

As you have the marriage cert, you must know the name given for the father..........

So please say what you actually want to know

William was born in Terrington St Clement , but Phoebe definitely hailed from Wymondham - I do have the certificate for the marriaget. All I know after that was that I wasn't sure if I could find the next William to get me back on track.

What is the occupation of his father on the marriage certificate and the witnesess/addresses too?

Oh my goodness - you've found some more info! I have just found the cert in my pile of papers, and it states William Stevens as his father William, but not there.
Not sure if he came to Wisbech at that time, as I haven't as yet found that branch, but the last place was definitely Terrington St Clement.

Hi Gins,
I don't have the certificate as I am working upwards to find which William is the right one. When I do find it, and purchase the cert, as I've made a big blunder in my tree and don't want to get it wrong again.
I will research the info and see if the info you have sent to me today, as the last one I tried wasn't the right one - so it continues for now.
