I've been looking at 1881 (below for reference). It caught my eye that there is a Lavinia living with the Robinson family. Lavinia is not a common name so I just wondered if there was some kind of connection. There are a couple of lusty sons in the Robinson family. |

I have been looking at the Lavinia born in West Bromwich and the one in 1891 with John Robinson but I can't make sense of either of them. |

You need Lavinia's marriage cert for her father's name & occupation. |

Thank you JL, I appreciate your efforts on my behalf. It may be for some reason she came up with Jersey though why I can't think. |

There is no birth registered for Lavinia Robinson in any of the 12 parishes so the Birmingham birth is looking more likely. |

Thanks Ozibird, this looks interesting. I did do a search of Lavinia Robinson births and if we go with the Birmingham theory then there is only one birth in JuneQ 1880 that fits. I believe I found the correct death in 1962 for her as Lavinia Holland and she was 82 so I think her year of birth probably was c1880. |

Hi,JL thank you that's very kind. We have been in touch before about a completely separate family , the Perrys from Jersey and you very kindly helped me out. |

If she was only in Jersey briefly, for example if her father was in the Army, then there would be no reason for her to show up on OPAC. |
