Good afternoon, need some help

Adelaide Parke married a Stanley Henry Reginald Van Ryck de Groot on 25/07/1894 in Pulham St Mary Norfolk.

Her husband was a doctor I can find all sorts of things about him on Ancestry from the medical journals and comings and goings on ships to Accra Ghana and South Africa

also found

2 more marriages

One in Natal in 1902 to Ivy Celia Freeman (transcripts on internet)

one in 1927 to in Cornwall to Marion Bottrell, he then changed his surname to Bottrell and have found a medical journal report that says he died 'at home' in 1956 aged 89

My questions are

1) Where was 'home' when he died ? the last address I can find on the medical journals is c/o National Bank of Australia London in 1955 which leads me to think Australia somewhere?

2) What happened to his wives particularly Adelaide ? Did they die in Africa ( I can see him coming in on a ship in 1902 with what must be his second wife)

After Green divorced her in 1931 she must have reverted to her first married name (it was she who divorced Van Ryck de Groot), since she died under that name in 1954-56.

his obit says he married the widow of a Dr Bottrell in Sydney in 1930 and she survives him (that'll be the c/o Australia bank then)

and he was born in november 1866 in Georgetown British Guyana

It seems a perfect match for age and place.

There's no birth of an Adelaide Livick or marriage of an Adelaide to a Livick in England/Wales.

You may well be right with the Adelaide, however does that not open up a can of bigamy worms ? or perhaps he could afford a divorce !

I have only just come back to GenesReunited, and found the posts for Adelaide Rebekah P, Parke 1876 - ???? I am researching my son's Godfather's tree, and Adelaide was his Maternal Grandfather's 1st wife. His Grandfather was Henry Reginald Stanley Van Ryck De Groot,, )sometimes used Stanley first), had at least 3 wives. If anyone can give me some clues to when Adalaide died and about anything to do with his other two wives, Ivy Celia Freeman, and Marion Vera Helen Bottrell nee Davis, I would love to hear from you.
