You will need to order one of the children's birth certs to get his name, although the marriage above does seem the correct one: |

I have made more progress in tracing the Pape line further back. I am stuck with one thing and wold be grateful for advice / help. I have located an Eleanor Pape (whose dob varies in the census docs but seems to be approx 1807), with four children (John Pape b 1836, James Pape b 1839, Jane Pape b 1842, and George Pape b 1848). I am assuming Pape to be her married name but cannot locate any reference to her husband in any census docs, and I have not yet been able to locate marriage info. Her husband was a mariner, and died between the 1851 - 1861 censuses. Can anyone help? |

I am trying to locate the forename of a Pape who married Florence Rain in Sunderland in March 1914, and who had at least one child (Gordon Brodie Pape b 1917). Can anyone help?? |
