Dea.
Gigs are spectacles to people of an older generation like your good self

Its ok,I have called the men in white coats for poor Renes, they said they were on the next flight to Spain to pick her up..

LadyKira

LadyKira Report 12 Oct 2010 21:52

They are led lights so should be ok.

Renes I will try but that is OH's realm.

We have a poster and leaflet campaign about the importance of children's eyecare on the wall at adult eyelevel. Over the summer we had a teddy bears picnic with flowers, a tree, butterflies and bees and windmills with a hidden fan to make them turn all at children's eyelevel. This is a follow on from that.but with a more rustic feel.

Dea Report 12 Oct 2010 21:54

Thank you Fans - Yes - I am of the older generation but I have to say, I have never come across the word Gigs used for spectacles!! - You learn something new every day don't you??

Many thanks,

Dea x

P.S. - I was assuming as it came from Gins it probably was something 'rude' !!

Off to bed now before she gives me a slap !!

Nite nite all,

Woodchuckcanuck -- finally figured that out, it's somebody's username at youtube. ;)

But of course -- how do you think I stay supplied with those cedar 2x4s!

Not me on youtube though -- I go by my other (one of my others) internet name there. And a variant that I use when somebody bans me from commenting on their nasty right-wing gunhead / anti-choice videos. Until they figure that one out and ban it too. ;)

Trace

I rely on you you know - apart from the excitement of "" Key gate "" - no turtle suits - hardly any falling downs clutching their glass - no good gigs -

Get back to work - spending all your time Xmas shopping

Looking at a demo of a new chain saw sharpening device???? Grief Renes, is there nothing on the tv to watch then?

Bearded Woodman could be one of Janey's board names - wouldn't put it past her!

I am a woman of many talents - we need logs for our winter heating - wood burning stove - it has a top oven section - very hot - ideal for jacket spuds - and casseroles

And unfortunately I cannot grow log sized Olive trees

I have tried -

We've all had probs with the LWE Trace. Mine still doesn't know whether it is coming or going despite telling the powers that be about it.

However, just check back a few pages to make sure you ain't missed opening a pm. I found some I had missed but it didn't solve the problem for long......sigh.

Absolutely incredible!!!

some interesting conversations going on while I;ve been away!

Is "gigs" a northern term? We used to say it when I was younger ....... and so did half-welsh OH
