Thank you one and all. Really strange. The pms you have sent me aren't showing in my personal email box yet but they are on here okay. However, 2 that I received from members on here at 19.00 and 19.15 have just popped up. I opened them ages ago on here.

Am I making sense??? It's as though my Tiscali email is on go-slow.

And no, soliciting is illegal in Canada. By either party. Some jurisdictions may not enforce it.

How I do hate the crud about the "oldest profession". I really do think women were good for something even back in pre-history besides being sexually used by men. I really think women did then, and still do, have a lot better things to do with our lives and a lot better things to contribute to the world than that. The idea that the first economic activity women, women like me, ever engaged in was prostituting themselves (or being prostituted, which has always been prevalent and hardly qualifies the activity as a "profession"), well, I just find it kind of a revolting idea, totally false as it is, and completely contemptuous as it is. Not all women are prostitutes. Really.
