Tuesdays are always busy for me....so it's nice to relax.


Son is dreading doing the eulogy for his wife's grandmother's funeral on Friday. He has sent us a copy and it's very good.....wonder where he gets it from?? I have said I will sit at the back and hold up a card shouting...."Se-vern" just like Len on Strictly Come Dancing......that made him smile!




Just watching a programme about a couple in SA who have a hippo living with them......need their heads testing I reckon.



Dea...we used to sing Postman Pat on the way home and I would glance in the rear view mirror to see two small oval mouths on the back seat....singing their little hearts out they were!



Happy birthday to your son tomorrow Gins.....hope you didn't buy him one of those roodey cakes......;))

OH and daughter sang You'll Never Walk Alone for my Grandmothes funeral. It was hers and Grandad's favourite so it was a farewell gift for her.

OH also read a poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson for his father.

It was Christmas time and the choir he sang in came and sang his favourite Christmas carol...........The Shepherds Farewell.

OOOhh Don't mention 'Postman Pat' Cynths - My local Morrison's Store used to have one of those sit in car things for children which you put 50p in so they could have a 'waste of time' ride - It played the 'Postman Pat' song !!

I used to leave there singing it in my head for hours after.

SSooo annoying !

I've read a lot at funerals, usually a bible reading but once read a poem which had been written by the deceased - a disturbed young woman who died after 'falling down the stairs'. Very sad but I was okay. And no, I ain't a hard old bat either!


Ja...x is around - just spotted her on a thread. Fans is probably lolling around in a bath and as for JC....well, she could be absolutely anywhere!!

Offered to take a look for marriages for someone she could have mentioned the name was Smith before she pm'd me.
Leg is a bit better should be able to manage a shower tomorrow, starting to pen and ink now lol

No Cyn its over the bath, I normally sit on a bath board as balance not too good but as long as I can stand on one leg should be able to get in without falling over
