I will work to get the MC of Robert & Emma/Emily. ??
I am inclined to believe that she may have been Emma Louise, as I know one of Herbert/Ediths grand-daughters is Louise, & my sisters middle name is also Louise.

The Adelaide Street address may have been where the hat factory / shop was, so it could be possible that they lived above or adjacent to their businness?? the 1881 & 1901 census, would indicate that Emma was 17 when she married Robert & that perhaps she and husband Robert Waller assumed responsibility of the Adelaide Street location from her father??
I suppose all this was very possible 100+ years ago!!??!!?!

I note that thee is aJulia Brown age 40 on the 1901 Census, indicated as Sister, adn Straw Hat Manufacturer. Robert's wife is Emma L, and if Julia is HER sister ...................

I wonder if this is Emma L Brown as a child???

This is all great stuff thanks...
Now I know Herbert married Edith __?, and they had x2 sons, John & Jack?? Herbert & Edith lived in later years, in Barton-le-Clay (near Luton). Herbert lived until @ 90 years old I think.
One of the other brothers had a wife named Florence (in Luton) can anyone help with this??

His marriage cert would confirm his father's name and you really need this to be sure if you haven't already got it, but I would think it likely that the 1911 census details below was is family. It always helps when middle names are used in the census

Would appreciate help 'organizing' Waller branch.
My grandfather Robert Waller b. early 1900's I think, died 1963 Luton. He married Margaret McCormick, had 4 children 2 pre-war, 2 post war.
Robert was one of several children, some brothers names, Herbert, Percy, Jack? All in & around Luton.
Would like to know all siblings & parent names.

Someone, I hope will have detailed Waller history, which I know is out there...but first things first.
