Actually, I create my posts in a notepad .txt file and edit them before actually posting them - I save the notepad file. I've been using this one for 11m now, and it's just over 1MB in size.

... 'Kennedy' was actually a mistranscription of the information in the image by Ancestry

the image actually says 'Kenney' for both people

it was corrected by an Ancestry user in 2010

you can contact that user via the Ancestry system, her profile says she lives in Canada and she is still active every day on the Ancestry site

... however her profile says she is researching the name Kinna (?) and that may be how she came across James 'Kinney' so she may have no connection ...


ps ... I have an ancestor born in the late 1700s in England whose name was spelled Kenny or Kenney in censuses too who I suspect came from Irish parents too but so far I have not had any luck tracking that line ... although so far I have not tried too hard :-)

can you edit to identify the census years for both of those censuses?

(edit, oops, sorry, you did say 1861 at the bottom of the first one, so the one for Bridget is too?)

and can you possibly edit out all the irrelevant portions, the column titles and big spaces, so it's possible to read the content of the posts all together without scrolling through all those spaces (and also see the rest of the thread more easily)?
